Launch Project LIFE
In Your Community

Is your school district or rehabilitation agency in need of a program model proven to build skills in students with disabilities as they work to meet their post-school transition goals? Butler Tech offers the Project LIFE program model for national replication. Students participating in Project LIFE generally have a diagnosis or a learning limitation that presents a barrier to their goal of gaining and maintaining inclusive, competitive employment in their communities. Project LIFE gives students:

  • Increased independence
  • Self-determination
  • Social and communication skills
  • Community integration
  • Competitive employment
  • Relevant life skills

Created By Educators,
For Educators

Experienced Project LIFE personnel provide face-to-face training and ongoing consultative support. Everything you need to implement and sustain the program at your site is available in an online portal.

Make a life-changing investment in your students at a minimal cost

The cost to replicate Project LIFE is $20,000. This one-time fee covers up to 24 students per year with access to all curriculum materials, assessments and a variety of web-based resources. The annual renewal fee is $1,500.00 (billed June 1 each year).

Apply For A Matching Grant From Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF)

Replication funding is available through a generous grant from our friends at the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation. You can apply for a matching grant to fund your Project LIFE Replication. Don’t miss this opportunity to offset your expenses with a MEAF grant.

Totaling $225,000, this generous grant award is being utilized to promote the Project LIFE National Replication Initiative. These funds will provide 21 school districts or nonprofit rehabilitation service providers the opportunity to implement this highly successful transition program at a matching fund commitment of $10,000.
